The Master of Liberal Arts program is designed to offer graduate level education in the broad areas of liberal studies. It is a multidisciplinary, non-career oriented program that seeks to offer a wide range of educational opportunities to students of diverse educational backgrounds.

The MLA Program is a multidisciplinary program that offers a wide range of educational opportunities to students of diverse educational backgrounds. If you are interested in culture and the American cinema, parapsychology, or the American West, we have a wide range of courses that you will find culturally enriching and intellectually challenging.

The Program is available on campus, online, or a combination of the two.

GMAT admission requirements GMAT The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. GMAT contains 4 sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. The score has a range from 200 - 800.

English requirements

IELTS admission requirements IELTS The International English Language Test System (IELTS) tests your English-language proficiency on a scale of 1 – 9. The score refers to the combined average score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading).

PTE Academic admission requirements PTE Academic PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. The score refers to a total score which ranges between 10 and 90.

General requirements

The Master of Liberal Arts program is open to any person who holds a bachelor´s degree from an accredited college or university, regardless of major academic emphasis or date of completion. A $60 application fee and an OFFICIAL copy of your transcript mailed from your degree granting institution directly to the Master of Liberal Arts Program, TCU Box 297024, Fort Worth, Texas 76129 are required. If school of last attendance was TCU, the Master of Liberal Arts program will obtain your transcripts that are on file in the Registrar´s Office. The application fee is to be submitted with the application for admission.
