The Texas Christian University Department of Biology embodies the teacher-scholar model and our graduate students receive the best practical training and professional mentoring. The Department of Biology offers three graduate degrees: the Master of Arts (MA, without a thesis), the Master of Science in Biology (MS, with a thesis), and the Ph.D.

Career

The MS Biology degree program provides students with a solid foundation in biological knowledge together with the skills necessary to excel in a wide range of careers.

MS students engage in scholarship and research with faculty mentors, present their research at scientific meetings, and often publish their research in the peer-reviewed literature.
