About the Human and Health Services Administration Program
With courses that combine tested healthcare theory with real-world strategic practice, you will quickly learn to approach new ideas, projects, and challenges from multiple perspectives and will be prepared for advancement within health and human services. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, healthcare is one of the fastest growing industries in the U.S. With such rapid growth in the workforce, qualified leaders and administrators in all areas of human and health services are in demand.
Complete your Human and Health Services Administration degree on your schedule while learning about the theoretical foundations, ethical dilemmas, and current issues of the healthcare field. All fall and spring semester courses in this program are 16 weeks long. Summer session courses are eight weeks long. When you are admitted into the program, you will be assigned an advisor who creates an individualized graduation plan. This plan will help organize and identify the courses you need for your degree.
This graduate degree program at the University of Oklahoma provides a broad-based perspective of healthcare and human service delivery systems, and it is not designed to provide primary professional preparation. Students selecting this option must have a prior training and/or work history in an applicable area for job entry.
