Whether you’re determined to improve health care in Mississippi or Malawi at Brandeis University, the Heller School’s innovative Master of Science in International Health Policy and Management (MS/IHPM) gives you the broad understanding and focused skills to make a significant difference as a policymaker, manager, researcher or advocate in the field of health care.

The International Health Policy and Management School is one of the nation’s top 10 schools of social policy and management, and it boasts a rare depth of expertise in health care policy. MS/IHPM students have the chance to learn from some of the nation’s leading policy experts and explore the latest, most innovative ideas around health systems strengthening, including patient-centered care and pay-for-performance insurance schemes.

What’s more, the Heller School – and the MS/IHPM program in particular – attract an incredibly diverse set of faculty and students. Our international student body includes experienced clinicians and mid-career professionals who have worked in their home countries’ health ministries and for NGOs and nonprofits such as the Peace Corps. Students gain deep insight into global health systems and benefit from their peers’ unique experiences and perspectives.
