Overview

The Master of Public Management (MPM) program at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College is designed for professionals who want to strengthen their skills while continuing to work. With part-time, in-person evening classes and flexible pacing options, the MPM program makes it possible to pursue a graduate degree without stepping away from your career or family responsibilities.

This program is built for people with three or more years of professional experience who want to deepen their understanding of management, technology, and policy in the public and nonprofit sectors. The curriculum emphasizes practical tools and critical thinking that you can bring back to your workplace right away.
