    This course provides an advanced view of cybersecurity. It reviews the impact of cybersecurity on institutions, privacy, business and government applications; and examines the dimensions of networks, protocols, operating systems, and associated applications.

    • Cyber Intelligence

    This course provides an overview of the history and evolution of cyber intelligence, covering areas that include passive and active measures, principles and processes, ethics, and evaluation of successes and failures

    English Language Requirements

    Academic Requirements

    You need the following GPA score:

    Required score: 2.5

    Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

    Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

    General Requirements

    • Official transcripts (mark sheets) of all secondary and post secondary academic work along with an explanation of the grading system (in English)
    • Tests of English language proficiency, if English is not your first language. Utica College requires one of the following:
      • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 550 written, 213 computer-based, 79-80 internet-based;
      • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0; or
      • Duolingo English Test (DET) score of 60
    • Two letters of recommendation
    • Offical examination results for school finishing or leaving examinations
    • Copy of Passport
