    Health Care Systems: A Continuum of Care

    The course explores the continuum of care through organization development, applied research, systems theory and structured modeling analysis. A strong foundational “systems-thinking” approach provides the mental models required for organization improvement.Ethical and Legal Issues The challenges of patient-centered care require an understanding of the complex ethical and legal issues, mandates and best practices. Analysis of case studies and resolution implications are explored.

    General Requirements

    • Official transcripts (mark sheets) of all secondary and post secondary academic work along with an explanation of the grading system (in English)
    • Tests of English language proficiency, if English is not your first language. Utica College requires one of the following:
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 550 written, 213 computer-based, 79-80 internet-based;
    • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0; or
    • Duolingo English Test (DET) score of 60
    • Two letters of recommendation
    • Offical examination results for school finishing or leaving examinations
