Students will explore historical performance practice, the origins of music education in the United States, the application of music theory to specific pedagogy and knowledge, multi-cultural impacts, pedagogy, practice, and other topics relevant to trends and issues in music education. The students will also gain knowledge and experience in research and writing in the field of music education.
