General requirements
- Complete the online graduate admission application.
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from a regionally accredited institution with a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Provide two letters of recommendation from nurses holding an MSN, submitted directly by the recommenders using the Framingham State University form.
- Submit a typed 300‑word personal statement outlining motivation for graduate study, prior education, current job responsibilities, and career plans.
- Possess an unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Maintain a minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and a minimum GPA of 3.25 in undergraduate nursing coursework.
- Applicants who do not meet GPA requirements may be required to complete a one‑credit summer preparatory course.
- Complete an undergraduate introductory statistics course with a minimum grade of C.
