Overview

The Health Studies program offered by Thomas Jefferson University's graduates from this program become eligible for employment opportunities and admission to doctoral programs. The curriculum features core courses that introduce the tools of graduate-level study, focus area courses that provide detailed knowledge of key areas of healthcare (clinical leadership, clinical practice, etc.) facilitating future job placement and scholarly investigation, elective courses that expand professional capacities and a mentored capstone project that engages students in the scholarly investigation of a novel problem in healthcare.

Transcripts: Students who have taken coursework outside of the United States must submit a course-by-course academic credential evaluation from a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) member credentialing organization.
Degree Prerequisite: Applicants are required to hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent upon evaluation of international transcripts prior to the start of the program.
Jefferson accepts three-year international Bachelor’s degrees if they meet the following criteria:
The degree must lead to the next higher level of study in the country of issuance.
The degree is issued from a regionally accredited institution.
GPA Requirement: A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is preferred.
