Key facts

You'll develop core legal skills, put into the context of financial transactions. You'll also develop an awareness of the drivers and risks inherent to corporate financial transactions. In the process, you'll understand how lawyers use contracts to manage risks and formalise financial relationships between parties.

Your learning integrates practical experience and academic rigour. You will work on a series of varied real-life corporate finance transactions and matters developed in consultation with legal practitioners, as well as critically evaluating the regulatory frameworks that apply to these transactions.
