Students may choose either one of the many graduate certificates or the full master of engineering and technonolgy mangement degree. Many students earn one or more certificates while working towards the masters degree. Others begin in the certificate program and migrate to a full degree program. The Engineering and Technology Management program offered by Washington State University has been consistently ranked among the best online engineering graduate programs by U.S. News and World Report. The Master of Engineering and Technology Management Program (METM) prepares engineering and business professionals to make strategic and operational decisions and become leaders in the management of technology. The program provides technology team managers with the knowledge, tools, and skills to become proficient managers of projects, operations, organizations, and people. The program is specifically tailored for professionals who want to advance their careers while still working fulltime.

General requirements
- Prospective international students must have the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from an approved institution. Usually this is a minimum of four years of study beyond grade 12.
- A grade point average equivalent to a U.S. grade of “B” or better is required.
- Prospective domestic students must have received a baccalaureate degree from a college or university, accredited by a recognized association, with a cumulative grade point average of 3.00.
