Overview

The Health Informatics program offered by Gannon University includes two expertly informed series - one focused on healthcare administration and another focused on technical applications. Following the completion of both, students will have the opportunity to complete a practicum to integrate their knowledge and skills into a practical application within the health informatics landscape. In addition, students will choose from a series of elective course offerings which complement the core program of study.

An applicant for the Master of Science in Health Informatics program must possess a baccalaureate degree in a clinical field, healthcare, computer science, business, or other related fields from a regionally accredited institution with a GPA of at least 2.5/4.0. A GPA of at least 3.0 is required for applicants from backgrounds outside of those mentioned above.
