The integrated Social Work and Public Health from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston is designed as a three-year course of study, and brings together the complex and mutually reinforcing health and social problems and with their assessment, prevention, and reduction in individuals and populations experienced by both public health and social work professionals

Students pursuing a dual degree are entered into the Customized MPH plan at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health.

Dual degree students must complete all partner program degree requirements and apply for graduation from the partner institution to be eligible for MPH degree conferral. In most cases, degree conferral for both programs must occur in the same semester.
