Overview

The Indigenous Placekeeping and Design programme from Arizona State University is a hands-on programme that immerses designers, artists, scholars and educators in creative and community-based dialogue to grow capacities, advance culture and equity, and imaginatively address today's most pressing challenges.

Participants engage in direct collaborations with Indigenous communities (urban and rural) and work alongside civic and industry partners, enabling students to learn and practice with internal and external guidance. The skills gained enable graduates to specialize in Indigenous placekeeping and design.

Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in the last 60 hours of their first bachelor's degree program or applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in an applicable master's degree program.
