Overview
The Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Online) course offered at Lamar University gives you the knowledge and expertise to provide clinical counseling to a broad population in a range of settings. The program also includes intensive practicum and internship experiences.
Upon graduation from the master's in clinical mental health counseling program, you will be able to employ a variety of counseling strategies and techniques to help clients in many types of clinical and treatment settings. This will require graduates of our program to apply for licensure credentials to become recognized as a professional counselor in their state.
