Overview
Teacher Leadership - Gifted and Talented (Online) course offered at Lamar University introduces teachers to the design methodologies and techniques of scientifically-based educational research in making informed decisions that positively impact student achievement with particular emphasis on serving the needs of students with exceptional academic and creative abilities.
You will learn how to support student learning by building key relationships with school community stakeholders including students, teachers, faculty, parents and the community at large.

- Learn how to understand, identify and direct creative behavior in gifted/talented students
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of the unique characteristics and needs of gifted/talented students as they relate to both family and classroom dynamics
