This Educational Technology Leadership program at Strayer University is designed for students who want to develop and apply strategies to provide visionary technology leadership, foster a culture of innovation, promote and guide professional development programs and evaluate and refine initiatives for systemic improvement.

Emphasis is also placed on critical examination of social and cultural implications of information technologies.

The educational technology leadership concentration can provide the skills to help you become an innovative technology leader.

Evaluate the teaching staff’s performance and suggest improvements to help strengthen their teaching abilities.
Research, analyze and recommend changes to curricula, instructional methods and educational materials for schools.
Modify content and delivery methods to meet the needs of different types of learners.
Assess the efficiency of instructional systems, courses or educational materials with the help of performance data.
Measure the ease of instructional technology use, knowledge transfer and satisfaction to evaluate teaching efficiency and effectiveness.
Establish the foundation for curriculum development or curricula updates through needs and learning assessments.
Develop educational materials for use in classroom or online settings.
Create comprehensive course documentation that meet accreditation, certification and other requirements.
Develop new ways to measure the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions.
Revise instructional materials, including lesson plans, instructor guides and tests.
Suggest ways to update to curricula or delivery methods, guided by data on instructional effectiveness, performance needs, associated costs and more.
