Overview

CentER's two-year Research Master in Economics equips you for a research-based professional career with graduate level coursework and research training. You will engage deeply in finding solutions to important societal problems that organizations face through research. Professional Economics prepares you for a position as a researcher in an organization.

• The program is tailor-made based on your interests. You can choose your own specialization through elective field courses.
• You will collaborate with excellent faculty and students from all over the world, including leading experts in their fields.
• The program offers ample space for intensive interaction with and guidance from our faculty, both inside and outside the classroom.
• You will receive your own academic mentor who will guide you through the Research Master, and a student buddy who will help you navigate your life as a student in the Research Master.
• You will be actively involved in our lively, informal yet intellectual research community early on. You will have the opportunity to attend weekly research seminars, join reading groups on topical issues, and participate in workshops and conferences. The Graduate Students’ Society (GSS) and the graduate school organize many professional and social events.
