About the Program
The Mathematics of Finance program at Columbia University strives for a balance between rigorous theoretical courses and cutting-edge applied courses, the latter in many cases taught by professionals from the financial industry. In addition to the finance, mathematics, and statistics courses offered by the program, the students can take courses from all over the university.
Career
The MAFN Program equips the students with the skills to not only succeed academically but also give them the professional development tools and resources to succeed in the job market. The majority of our students find their first jobs in Investment Banks, Financial Services, Asset Management, Consulting, and Technology.
