Overview
Research (Education- Social Policy) is offered by Cardiff Metropolitan University. During the MRes you will identify and undertake a substantial independent research project.
Throughout you will develop your ability as an advanced researcher, gaining hands on experience in both qualitative and quantitative approaches. You will be supported to develop and apply your skills as a critical thinker and also gain experience of tailoring your dissemination from your research findings.
The MRes Education or MRes Social Policy will advance your intellectual and practical research abilities and will help you to develop the skills and experiences that are in high demand in many fields of employment.
The MRes Education is designed for those developing careers in applied education research. The MRes Education is well suited for those working, or interested to work, in:

- You will normally be expected to have at least a 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
- You will also be considered if you have relevant work experience and deemed to have academic potential.
