Candidacy is a “preaccreditation” status with the CAA, awarded to developing or emerging programs for a maximum period of 5 years.
The program is intended to be completed in two calendar years or five-six academic semesters, including summers. Students will obtain coursework that may include distance learning, in class, and/or hybrid teaching and clinical practica both on and off campus in at least three different settings (clinic, school, hospital/rehabilitation center/nursing facility).
