Overview

The Complex Biological Systems degree at Rowan University will build expertise and foster comprehensive understanding of problem complexity while building collaborative skills. M.S. students may take the non-thesis track and earn their degree following the successful completion of required and elective graduate coursework. M.S. students in the thesis track will develop and defend an in-depth thesis based on original research performed in the biological sciences. Program graduates will have the training and expertise to pursue doctoral studies, research positions in academia and industry, as well as other fields like teaching, project management, and consulting.
