Designed for nurses currently working full time, the Carson-Newman University - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is fully online. Stress-free clinical placements give you practical experiences in women’s health, pediatrics and primary care.

Graduate students enrolled in at least 4.5 credit hours qualify to apply for federal financial aid. If you qualify, you can borrow up to $20,500 per year, which is more than enough to cover the total program cost.

You’ll be assigned a personal faculty advisor, who will help draft a course plan tailored to your specific goals.

A bachelor’s degree in nursing from a NLN or CCNE accredited four-year program.
Grade point average of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00-point scale for all undergraduate work
One official transcript from all previous undergraduate and graduate college or university course work.
Three (3) recommendations from each of the following areas: academic (if BSN degree less than 3 years), employment (from direct supervisor), and character
Current unencumbered active registered nurse licensure
Letter of personal goals and aspirations.
