The Elementary Education Master is offered by Quinnipiac University. Through our partnership with 20 local school districts, students in our program gain valuable classroom experience alongside significant savings on tuition via the tuition remission program.

If you have your bachelor’s degree and your goal is to become an elementary education teacher, Quinnipiac offers an intensive, cost-effective program that enables you to earn your master’s degree in teaching and your certification in only five semesters. You’ll enter in the fall as a full-time graduate student and spend your first two semesters interning in a school while attending evening classes on campus. We have forged collaborative partnerships with several area schools to allow you to learn best practices in teaching while being an important part of that school’s educational team. We have partnerships with 20 school districts throughout the state of Connecticut. These districts understand the importance of providing high-quality teaching experiences and opportunities to learn for our teacher candidates in a hands-on classroom environment. To help you secure your first job in education, we offer a range of career transition services including resume-writing workshops, mock interviews and assistance completing your certification paperwork.
