General requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- A cumulative undergraduate GPA or master’s degree GPA of 3.00 (minimum to apply). If below the 3.0 please contact the program for extenuating circumstances.
- A completed application through Occupational Therapy Centralized Application System (OTCAS) www.otcas.org, Note: Submit the WSSU application fee by January 15th.
- WSSU OT will accept a minimum of 25 hours to fulfill the shadowing requirement hours.
- Three recommendations (If possible, please have a letter of recommendation from an OT Practitioner where student volunteered or worked)
- A written essay
- A grade of “C” or higher in all prerequisite courses. Must have completed at least four of the seven prerequisite courses by the application deadline.
- An admission interview or video may be required (additional details would be provided).
- At this time the GRE is not being required.
