Developed by Southern New Hampshire University, this innovative Engineering Management Online program was revised in 2021 to meet the marketplace demand for managers who can effectively lead engineering departments, professionals and enterprises in a technical environment.

The program allows you to gain traditional and relevant business skills in pivotal areas including finance, project management, technology and quantitative analysis – as well as helps you develop your ability to collaborate and lead in a technical environment to execute complex solutions. Throughout the entire program, you'll learn more about ethics, technology innovation and leadership.

Developed and taught by WPI faculty, the online engineering management courses focus on integrating systems thinking concepts and systems engineering practices. You'll learn how to make informed and successful business decisions that foster improved efficiency, performance and effectiveness in highly technical engineering environments.

Artificial Intelligence for Business Innovation and Strategy

The Artificial Intelligence for Business Innovation and Strategy concentration will prepare students to harness the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to solve complex business challenges and drive innovation. Through an interdisciplinary approach, students will explore foundational Artificial Intelligence concepts, strategic implementation techniques, and knowledge-based Artificial Intelligence technologies, with a focus on ethical and societal considerations. By engaging with real-world case studies and practical applications, students will develop critical skills in designing and deploying Artificial Intelligence-driven solutions across various industries.

This concentration aims to empower graduates with the tools to strategically integrate Artificial Intelligence into organizational goals, enhance operational efficiency, and lead ethically conscious Artificial Intelligence initiatives. Students will emerge as innovative leaders equipped to navigate the rapidly evolving Artificial Intelligence landscape and make meaningful contributions to their fields.
