Completely online, the Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner program at Columbus State University has a curriculum that is creative to the core. Clinical hours can be completed in your own area (765 clinical hours are required). You’ll develop and nurture collaborative and interdependent relationships with other health care professionals to foster optimal client health outcomes. The CSU School of Nursing began enrolling new students in the CSU-only MSN/FNP program in Spring 2020 and is now accredited as a single institution by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

Hold a baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from a regionally accredited university and a nationally accredited nursing program (NLNAC or CCNE)

Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0

Current unencumbered RN license in the state where clinical course requirements will be met

Three (3) professional letters of reference

Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV) required for admission to the family nurse practitioner program
