Overview

The Physician Assistant Studies program is offered by Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine offers a dynamic learning environment where students and educators constantly interact and collaborate with one another. All full-time PA program faculty are, or have been, practicing physician assistants, and thus they bring a broad range of perspectives and experience.

Starting early in their studies, PA students also benefit from extensive hands-on experiences. They work with patient-actors who assume the roles of patients with specific medical histories, train in modern medical facilities for clinical rotations, and benefit from clinician-patient encounters in supervised clinical practice experiences.

As a result of all this training, our PA Studies program graduates are exceptionally prepared and highly sought after. First-time pass rate for our graduates on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam is exceptionally high. General requirements

All required application materials for the Physician Assistant Studies program, including a non-refundable $75 PCOM application fee (one fee per campus), are to be received by the Office of Admissions by December 15, 2023, in order to be considered for admission by the appropriate Faculty Committee on Admissions. Note that the application fee can only be paid online through the link sent via email at receipt of a verified and completed CASPA application. Acknowledgment emails with instructions to pay the non-refundable $75 PCOM application fee using the PCOM Admissions Portal will be sent beginning in mid-June. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive an acknowledgment email a week after your application has been verified by CASPA.
