Overview
This Doane University Leadership program's unique emphasis is on "Living Leadership," a concept that embraces everyday leadership – developing leaders of influence who make a positive difference at home, work, and in their communities.
The Masters of Arts in Leadership curriculum addresses critical challenges today's leaders face in an increasingly complex and diverse world. Not only will students develop a solid foundation in leadership theory, they will learn how to apply their learning in any setting.
Courses for the Master of Arts in Leadership program are currently offered via distance learning, where students and faculty meet once a week over Zoom. This modality accommodates students' busy schedules while retaining the benefits of meeting together as a class.
Career
Students will learn how emotional intelligence helps bridge differences that exist in our increasingly global world. They will develop innovative thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills. Students will develop the tools to lead strategically, communicate effectively, and help individuals and organizations navigate change successfully.

General requirements
- Doane University requires an official transcript
- The Master of Arts in Leadership program requires previous completion of a Bachelor's degree
- There is a $50 application fee
- Demonstrate English language proficiency,
- Provide official transcripts required for program admission which have been evaluated and translated by a naces approved member organization,
- Submit official proof of financial responsibility, and
- Submit passport information.
- Government regulations require F-1 students to enroll for one full academic year before taking a term off for vacation. For non-residential students this is equal to 4 consecutive terms.
- Government regulations require F-1 students to be enrolled full time.
- Government regulations require a Doane University DSO to approve students to have a course load below full time.
- Government regulations limit the number of online classes F-1 students may take.
