The University of Florida's Weekend Professional MBA format is weekend-based to give you the flexibility to balance work, school and home life. Do you:Have an undergraduate degree in business within the past seven years? The UF MBA Weekend Professional program has one format that will allow you to get your MBA in just 16 months.Want to expand your business knowledge and skill set but don’t have an undergraduate degree in business? We have one option that allow you to get your MBA without taking any pre-requisite courses – we promise!

Are monthly visits to Gainesville too far for you or difficult because of a demanding work schedule? There are two formats that require limited travel to campus and one that meets in South Florida with no travel requirements to Gainesville.

The Weekend Professional MBA helps students earn their MBA through a collaborative environment without having to quit their job. A monthly trip to Gainesville or our South Florida campus allows students to learn and build their network through an interactive classroom setting. This weekend-based format maximizes the student’s time on campus through face-to-face interaction with peers and faculty.

General requirements

A recognized baccalaureate, graduate or professional degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or a comparable degree from an international institution.
For applicants with a bachelor’s degree only, a minimum grade point average of B (3.0), calculated from all grades and credits after the semester where the applicant reached 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours is required. Applicants should refer directly to their intended academic units for Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) requirements. If required, academic test scores are used in the context of a holistic credential review process.
