Program Summary
The Saint Elizabeth University’s Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology is a 60-credit, 2-year (6 semesters) graduate program that is offered as a hybrid format with academic courses offered online and clinical courses offered in-person. With this format, students can gain personalized clinical training during year one while they acquire the foundational knowledge and clinical skills needed before embarking on more advanced clinical externships during year two. Then during their second year of study, with fewer academic courses online, they can participate fully in their clinical externships 4-5 days per week.
Students will engage in clinical practice for each semester throughout their program and graduate with 25 hours of clinical observations and at least 375 hours of direct supervised clinical practice in a variety of settings including schools, early intervention programs, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, long-term care facilities, and private practices.
