Program Details

The HPU Physician Assistant Studies program at High Point University will begin each Summer and will span 27 months over 7 continuous semesters. Part-time or interrupted attendance is not an option, and no online classes are offered. The program will prepare graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills to:

Reliably perform the role of the PA and meet the demands of an expanding local, national, and global health care environment.
Provide health care services to all persons regardless of race, culture, spiritual beliefs, gender, or socioeconomic status while contributing to the advancement of knowledge in their discipline and in medicine.

General requirements

Once the student’s Common Application file is completed, submitted and received by HPU then.
Admissions acceptance notification is sent.
Then the student completes the following steps:
Pays $500 Enrollment Deposit – preferred within 30 days of admission
acceptance.
Submits copy of passport face page.
Submits Certificate of Financial Support (CoFS)
Submits I-20 Visa Transfer Clearance Form if enrolling from a USA
secondary school, English language academy or other college/university.
Students enrolling directly from country of origin an I-20 will be
issued automatically after deposit is made.
