The Master of Music in music pedagogy will hone your skills as a teacher on your instrument or voice through on-campus and online coursework. You will work closely with the program director to design a personalized program to suit your needs.
The program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. Instruction in the major area includes courses in music pedagogy, music education, music literature, and the completion of a pedagogical project. General requirements
- No GRE scores are required.
- A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in music in the area of specialization from a regionally accredited college or university.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00 is required for full admission to the program, and 2.75 is required for conditional admission. All GPA calculations for admission are based upon the last 60 credits of undergraduate and post-baccalaureate study. See graduate admissions policies for more information.
