In the Department of Electrical Engineering, we pride ourselves on providing an outstanding education for our students in the core principles and practice of electrical and computer engineering. Students in the Electrical Engineering program at University of Louisiana at Lafayette will learn professionalism, ethics, teamwork and leadership skills, and a keen sense of the global impact of technology.

Key Features

The College of Engineering offers a Doctorate in Systems Engineering degree program, with the option to specialize in electrical engineering.
Both Thesis and Non-Thesis options are available. You can pursue a specialized area of study through a 30-hour thesis option, which is the best preparation for engineering practice, or a 36-hour non-thesis option.
