Courses include include, but are not limited to, student affairs administration, general college student counseling, career counseling, academic advising, institutional admissions, student activities, multicultural affairs and residence hall settings. Currently, there are no certification or licensure requirements for student personnel professionals. Counseling and Human Resource Development - College Counseling is offered at South Dakota State University.

Master’s degree applicants must have an approved Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (except in approved/accelerated programs). Domestic, international or non-degree seeking students may submit an application online.
