The Public Health online program from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University is designed to help you progress rapidly up the career ladder with guaranteed basic public health competencies and a focus on public health practice. Physicians and other healthcare professionals are drawn to the FAMU online MPH for the flexibility it offers – through anytime, anywhere access.

The distinct advantage of being currently housed within FAMU's Institute of Public Health within the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
As a synergistic complement for healthcare professionals—the FAMU MPH connects public health with additional basic science and health care disciplines (e.g., pharmacy, allied health sciences, medicine, dentistry, nursing) for more meaningful consultation with patients
Supports research and public health practice with a focus on health disparities that disproportionately impacts the poor and underserved (e.g., cancer, cardiovascular disease, infectious diseases, environmental health impacts, and access to care).
Provides online advisement by national and international public health experts and public health doctoral students. The FAMU Institute of Public Health also has the first Doctor of Public Health degree program in Florida and is the fifth program established in the Southeast.

General requirements

Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Demonstrate academic potential: (a) minimum GPA of 3.0 (in the last 60 semester hours of study) and/or (b) minimum GRE score of 300 (150 verbal and 150 quantitative).
All applicants, who do not already have a terminal degree, must take the GRE to be considered for admission.
