About Political Management, Global Politics Concentration at George Washington University

The program curriculum guides aspiring political professionals to take their place in the emerging profession of politics. Students have opportunities to get outside the classroom and gain hands-on professional experience that they can apply immediately in their careers. They learn the strategy, tactics, and ethical principles needed for success.

The degree may be tailored to a student's specific career goals. Optional focus areas include advocacy politics, electoral politics, and advanced political skills. Alternatively, students can work with their faculty advisor to select courses from several areas that meet individual aspirations. In addition, the program is offered with a concentration in global politics.

In addition to the required curriculum for the MPS in political management, students pursuing the global politics concentration must take at least one global perspective residency, at least four of the elective course options listed below, and two other elective courses of their choosing.
