Overview

Tiffin University’s Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Exercise Physiology is an in-depth exploration of a broad range of topics. Students learn about the impact of exercise on the body, psychosocial factors that influence health, how medications affect exercise therapies and how recommended medical dietary and nutritional changes can improve exercise capability. An MS degree in TU’s new Allied Health field ideally positions students to compete effectively in the growing exercise physiology profession. It is an in-person program with some online components.

Programme Structure

The best education programs link knowledge to professional practice to prepare students to succeed in the real world. In addition to faculty members with advanced exercise physiology expertise, TU recently invested in a new Exercise Science Lab to give students valuable hands-on practice.

The Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology program also offers opportunities to earn certifications as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist from the American College of Sports Medicine and as a Certified Special Populations Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Students will have the ability to earn these certifications as part of the required program curriculum.
