About Transportation Safety Administration at Clemson University
MTSA is a two-year, 30-credit-hour, non-thesis interdisciplinary program that incorporates all the disciplines involved in road safety, including both behavioral and infrastructure. The degree is aligned with national and international standards for core competencies that all transportation safety professionals should possess. Individuals completing the program will literally be transformed into lifesavers and change-makers as they become leaders skilled in developing, administering, and evaluating road safety programs, including the complex interaction of the human-vehicle-road system.

- Transcripts showing a bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited college or university (initially, informal transcripts or Xerox copies of originals may be utilized)
- A Statement of Purpose
- A current CV
- Three Professional references
- GRE test scores are waived for applicants who can demonstrate 2 or more years of employment in a transportation safety setting (demonstrated from one reference from your current employer).
- Students from countries where English is not the native language must provide IELTS scores.
