The 2-year full-time applied science curriculum combines clinically oriented coursework in rehabilitation medicine, allied health science and prosthetics/orthotics with engineering.

This interdisciplinary graduate programme in Prosthetics and Orthotics is in Kennesaw State University’s Department of Exercise and Sport Management in the Wellstar College of Health and Human Services. As the only programme of its kind in Georgia and one of just thirteen nationwide, this graduate degree will leverage KSU’s established strengths in clinical care, health sciences and engineering.

Online Graduate Application - There is a non-refundable $60 application fee.

Transcripts - Official transcripts from EACH college and/or university you have attended.

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 from a regionally accredited college or university.

Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, and psychology, or other relevant field from a nationally accredited institution preferred.

Foundation coursework may be required for applicants from other disciplines or related fields

Completion of program prerequisites with a C or better prior to matriculating into the program.

Statement of Purpose

Three references (from academic or professional sources)

Resume or professional vitae documenting education, experience (work and volunteer), certifications, professional affiliations, specific skills related to the field, and research presentations/publications.
