General requirements
- Resident of OH, IL, IN, KY
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- BSN from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing school by start of MSN program
- Minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale from BSN institution
- A current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state you are practicing in before the start of the MSN program
- Eligibility to obtain an active RN license in any other state required for clinical experiences
- Note: FNP track students must have completed 1,000 hours of RN clinical experience before starting their first clinical/practicum course (offered in the first summer session of the program for full-time students).

- Two letters of academic or professional references from faculty members, professional colleagues, or work supervisors who can evaluate your potential for success in a graduate program. At least one of your recommenders must hold a master's or higher degree.
