Overview
The JD-MPA Joint Degree at Villanova University offers a rigorous academic pathway for students to earn both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Public Administration concurrently. This integrated curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between legal expertise and public service leadership, preparing graduates for complex roles in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
This collaborative programme allows students to streamline their education by double-counting specific credits across both disciplines. Four law courses are applied toward the MPA requirements, while four MPA courses contribute to the JD degree, provided students maintain the required academic standing in both the School of Law and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
