The Master of Science Engineering Management is a 36 credit programme consisting of 12 courses (3 credits each) that is taken over the course of 24 months.

Individuals will formulate strategies to manage, and lead a diverse organization of engineers and technologists through in-depth research within the engineering enterprise. The MSEM programme makes use of research findings, complex models, and integrates emerging technologies with project management through an objective global viewpoint.
The MSEM/MEM degree encourages students to achieve the following educational objectives:

Describe and communicate the functions of Engineering Management such as planning, organizing, leading, and controlling projects.
Collaboratively design strategic plans to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness by incorporating value chain-based methodologies to engineering processes.
Analyze, design, and develop processes for increasing the efficacy of manufacturing and production systems through engineering management.
Assemble, construct, and develop teams that are efficient and have the ability to communicate engineering and technical data effectively by implementing project milestones through collaboration.
Formulate strategies to manage and motivate a diverse workforce of engineers and technologists towards the attainment of organizational goals.
Create, develop, and present in-depth research, independently or within the enterprise in a broad range of engineering, project management, and information and emerging technologies.
Create, innovate, design, and improve engineering management in an ethical and socially responsible way.

An applicant with a bachelor-level, or equivalent, Computer Science or Information Technology degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution and a minimum GPA of 2.5 can apply for entrance into Westcliff University.
For students who obtained their credentials outside the United States from a non-English-speaking country, proof of English proficiency will be requested.
Students who do not have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a technology discipline must take TECH 100 Introduction to Technology as a prerequisite.
