Overview
The Petroleum Engineering MSc programme from University of Tulsa focuses on developing, exploring, drilling, producing, and managing oil and natural gas resources and other minerals.

Coursework- Students in the Master’s program in petroleum engineering must maintain a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average. To obtain a Master’s degree, a student must have at least a 3.0 grade point average in petroleum engineering courses taken for graduate credit at The University of Tulsa.
- Not more than six hours coursework with grades of C are acceptable in the master’s program. Thesis grades are recorded as Satisfactory (S) or Unsatisfactory (U) and are not computed in grade point averages. A grade of S in thesis hours is required.

General requirements
- Applicants must hold a baccalaureate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university.
- Applicants must meet any admission requirements set by the degree programme in addition to those set by the Graduate School.
- Applicants whose academic work has been superior are admitted upon the approval of the degree programme and the Dean of the Graduate School.
- GPA: A grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the undergraduate major is required, but requirements may vary among programmes and may be higher than 3.0.
- GRE or GMAT: Applicant must obtain a satisfactory score on the GRE General Test.
