Concentrations
The University of Texas School of Law offers a single LL.M. degree with six different concentrations. Each degree concentration provides students with the opportunity to complete specified courses and obtain a certificate of specialization in that concentration. The Master of Laws program offered at University of Texas at Austin is flexible and allows each student to design an individual course of study tailored to their academic and professional interests. General requirements
- Application fee: a nonrefundable application fee of $75.
- Personal statement: Please limit your statement to two pages using a minimum of 11-point font and a maximum of 12-point font, 1-inch margins, and double-spacing.
- Resume: 1-2 pages in length.
- Official law school transcript, including proof of degree If the official law school transcript with final grades and proof of degree are in a language other than English, then literal (word-for-word) English translations are required. Applicants must submit all higher education transcripts, including transcripts for study abroad programs, and proof(s) of degree.
- Three letters of recommendation: We strongly recommend that at least one letter of recommendation come from an academic source. However, letters from employers or others who have worked closely with you can be very helpful.
- Official TOEFL iBT score (101 minimum) or IELTS Academic score (7.5 minimum)
