Study Advanced Architectural Design at University of Texas at Austin
The Advanced Architectural Design MAAD degree is offered at University of Texas at Austin. These areas include, but are not limited to, Sustainable Design, Community and Environmental Equity Design, Digital Technology, Latin American Architecture, Building Technology, Cultural Heritage Documentation and Research, and the Political, Social, and Cultural Histories of Architecture.
Students may make use of the interdisciplinary expertise and facilities that only a large university such as UT Austin offers. Though not required, we recommend applicants identify who they would like to study with and an area of concentration in their Statement of Interest.

- Upload portfolio as a single pdf through the portfolio credential on MyStatus: The level of creative skill you possess in any medium; The extent of your interest in the MAAD, made evident through your abilities in composition, physical form-making, or perception of the environment; Your ability to translate ideas into physical form, even if in simple terms such as drawing.
