Overview
About the Program
The Acting program of the University of California, Irvine (UCI) has proven itself notably successful in training working professionals: virtually all of our MFA graduates in the past fifteen years now perform on stages around the country, on and off Broadway, in regional theatres, or in feature films and television series. Many hold faculty positions in university theatre departments. Such a degree of success cannot be achieved by actors who possess mere professional competence. UCI actors are successfully working in the acting profession because their talent - and their training - has made them exceptional.
