Overview
This rigorous 1.5-years (4-semester) program in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of Georgia provides students with didactic instruction and applied experiences so they are able to successfully accomplish the following: (a) assess the environmental causes of individuals' behavioral excesses and deficits, (b) develop interventions that are functionally related to clients' behavioral challenges, and (c) use single case design methodology to evaluate the effectiveness of the behavioral interventions.
Curriculum
Our program trains you to be an evidence-based, client-centered, outcomes focused Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA). The program integrates on campus coursework with rigorous practicum experiences completed in the UGA Applied Behavior Analysis Clinic, the Center for Autism and Behavior Education Research (CABER) Demonstration Classroom, and/or other sites.

Admission will be based on a portfolio of information, including:
- The graduate application
- Official transcripts
- A personal statement
- A minimum of two letters of recommendation
- Resume that highlights any experiences you might have related to ABA
Students who meet all of the following requirements will be eligible to apply for the ABA Master's Degree Program:
- Professional preparation: Earned, or will have earned, a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution before the date of enrollment at the University of Georgia.
- GPAMinimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 for all courses taken.
- TOEFL
This program takes a holistic approach to admissions and does not require standardized testing scores be submitted, e.g. no GRE or MAT scores are required.
