- Customizable Curriculum
In just 10 months, our students supplement a strong core curriculum with courses tailored to match their interests. You’ll choose from two tracks, taxation or business measurement and assurance, each with the flexibility to select electives that suit your future career goals. We also offer specializations and certificates and the ability to further customize your degree by taking other UofSC graduate-level courses including study abroad.
Key Facts
The core MACC curriculum focuses on ensuring you possess a strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, including data analysis, and are able to identify and solve client issues. You’ll also have access to the same software, tools and tasks you would use in a real-world job setting, ensuring your ability to deliver from day one in a new position.
- CPA Exam Success
Earning your CPA licensure is an important career milestone. The MACC program includes a required simulated CPA exam, focused study/test weeks integrated into each semester, access to free or discounted study materials and individual study plans to assist in your studying efforts. Many of our students complete all four parts of the exam prior to graduation.
- Study in the South, Work Anywhere
Wherever you picture your future career, we are here to help make it happen. The reputation of our MACC program is well known by accounting firms and corporations large and small because they value the skills our students learn here.
